Dematting Tip
Leave it up to the Professionals. Don't do it at home!!!!! You may think you know what to do. However, some mats cannot be "cut" out. You may mistake skin for a mat. Mats are not knots that can just be brushed out. If they were , they would not be there. Because we all brush our dogs everyday, RIGHT......... Please call your groomer if you feel your dog has bad knots or mats. Make grooming appointments every 4-6 weeks for coated and long haired dogs. Mats can be avoided with proper grooming. Also, Be kind to your pet. We all are in this to make the pups and kitties look as beautiful as possible. However, we will not torture your baby. If your PROFESSIONAL groomer says, the dog should be shaved and it would not be good to demat, believe them. It hurts, think if you had dreadlocks and we took a comb and pulled and cut into them. It's painful. The hair grows back, we promise. Let us do what is best for the dog.
